报告内容：In this lecture, we will explore the process of disseminating scientific research findings, with a particular focus on publishing in international peer-reviewed journals. We will begin by examining the importance of research dissemination and the various methods available to share scientific knowledge effectively.
A central part of the discussion will be the IMRAD structure—Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion—which forms the standard framework for most scientific articles and dissemination formats. We will examine each of these core components in detail, highlighting what content should be included in each section, as well as common pitfalls to avoid.In addition to the IMRAD structure, we will review other essential elements of a scientific article, including the title, authorship, abstract, references, acknowledgments, figures, and tables.Furthermore, we will address practical aspects of the publication process, such as selecting an appropriate journal, understanding how peer review works, and responding effectively to feedback from editors and reviewers. These topics will be discussed both in general terms and through concrete examples.
Although this lecture will emphasize the publication of medical and public health research, many of the principles discussed are broadly applicable across a range of scientific disciplines.
